Dear Lynette, James and family,

This coming Sunday, a novena is being said at my church (All Saints Catholic Church) for Sydney. She is consitantly in my prayers and on all our prayer lists that are shared with friends and family.

I look at her little smiling face posted on her website and continue to believe that God is shining through her.

Please give her a hug for me.

I'm a friend of Ray & Ann Huffhines and Ann has kept me updated on Sydney. You all are in my prayers. May the Lord's presence and grace be abundant on all of you!

Know that I am praying for your whole family. The Providence faculty also meets daily for prayer and the Thweat family is ALWAYS on that list. Our hearts break for what you are experiencing. I pray for encouragement for you and obvious signs to you that our Lord is right there with you.

I am praying that the steroids would begin having the desired effect in the next 7 days and that God would work in mighty ways through her and your entire family. I am also praying that her body would fight off everything attacking her body. Ron

hi lynette i just wanted to say i renewed my faith in christ on yesterday . and also went up for prayer for sydney. i hopr you can get through because you certainly has fought a battle .i am prayer for you and your family that her illness will go away.

"I make a decree that in every dominion of my kingdom men must tremble and fear before the GOd of Daniel. For He is the living God, and stedfast forever; His kingdom is the one which shall not be destroyed, and His dominion shall endure to the end. He delivers and rescues, and He works signs and wonders in heaven and on earth, who has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions" (Daniel 6:26-27).

This verse came to mind when I heard of Sydney's problems this morning. Job was afflicted with boils from head to toe and in deep pain. Yet he never lost confidence in the Lord.

"Then I would still have this consolationGÇö my joy in unrelenting painGÇö that I had not denied the words of the Holy One.

Job 6:10

We pray for God to deliver Sydney from this pain and suffering by completely restoring her health. We pray that the Doctors and Nurses will know exactly how to treat her. We pray for God to comfort Lynette and James and the family during this time of suffering in her life. Lord, you have a purpose for everything and even though we do not understand the purpose of all of this, we trust in you just as Job did in his suffering.

We ask these things in your name, Amen.

Lynette, I love you, miss you, and I am praying for Sydney's body to be more protected from the bad side effects from the drugs. Praying that the drugs will only do good things to her body. You are such an example of what a mother should be. Hang in there. Let us support you in prayer. Praying you'll continue to trust Him to hold you up and keep you going. Pam and I have Sydney and you and your family in our prayers daily.
The words and thoughts that you have shared in your journal are a true testomny of your love, faith and belief in a Loving God. You grace us with yours and Sydney's journey and that is a huge blessing to me. I wish that your journey was not in the valley but on the mountain top. My prayer for you is that God would give you and Sydney the strength and courage to continue the climb to the summit. My prayer is for one step at a time and tomorrow I'll pray for another step. You have been such a witness to me personally. Your faith has strengthened mine. Your hope for Sydney's complete healing is my hope and dream as well. She is a special child who has been blessed with special parents. I pray that God has more planned for her here on earth and that one day you will look back on this trial and see his divine purpose and plan. Know that you and your family is loved and cared for.
