Lynette, James and Sydney-
We know you have gotten to New York. I pray that God has placed many angels in your path, and that you will see the work of His hand and feel the love of many of His people there. Change is always hard, especially so under already trying circumstances, but I know you have a wonderful support system and soon you will have the big apple eating out of your hand. We continue to pray for all of you. We think about you everday and hope that each day brings you all calm and peace and healing.
The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.(Exodus 15:2)

Hi, Sweetie! I'm embarrassed to tell you that I have just now discovered this "Guestbook" page. (I'm what's called
"computer illiterate"!) I saw Mrs. Castilla at Providence the other day & she told me all about it.
I want you to know that Mr. Dauster & I have been praying for you EVERYDAY, & that I miss getting to see you so much!

I hear it is cold and rainy in NYC! Just wanted to let you know that I am praying for you and so are your classmates.

I hope you have your DVD's with you so you can continue with school. How are those time drills going? I hope you are reading everyday! I will send you work each week so you can keep up with us.

Dear Ones, We've been back from Europe a few days and wanted you to know of a wonderful experience in Rome at the Vatican.The Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's were available for prayers for Little Sydney and your wonderfully spiritual family. It was so comforting to do this in such a powerfully religious setting. We cherished this time and will always remember it in connection with all of you. Much Love, Susie and Gary

As i was praying for you, i remembered this verse for Sydney
" Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow (shelter) of your wings." Psalm 17:8
When we were on a Providence field trip years ago, at the Heard Nature Center, the lady giving the presentation had an incredibly regal and noble looking red hawk perched on her gloved hand. At one point there was a loud noise, which startled him, and his wings went up protectively around the lady's face. His gaze was so fierce, his wings so strongly in place, that nothing would have dared come closer. It was a powerful visual of being in "the shelter of his wings". i wish i had a photo to show you, but we were all too awestruck at the moment, and nearly afraid to breathe or move.
I love the way God expresses Himself to us through His creation.
Thank you for sharing your faith and journey with us. We are deeply moved, and are praying for you.
