Lynette
I am an elder at Bent Tree Bible Fellowship and want you and Sydney to know that she and your family will be lifted up at our prayer night this evening! My nephew battled the same disease when he was a bit younger than Sydney and he is now a sophomore in college!
In Christ alone,
Jim Greenwood

11-13-06 Dear Sydney,
I'm thinking of you today. I pray the LORD will show you great mercy and touch you with His healing hand.
Have you memorized any verses lately? I'm working on Isaiah 53. Maybe you can listen to me recite it sometime.
Today the sun is shining outside and the gentle breeze reminds me of the gentle presence of the Holy Spirit. I hope you sense His presence with you.
Love, Miss Stutts

Dear Ms. Sydney-
I just wanted to say 'hi' and tell you how proud I am of you. You are so very brave and strong. Praise God for the way He made Sydney! I miss you and still check in on your website everyday hoping to catch the next update as soon as it's up. I look forward to playing violin with you again. (I will always keep a lesson time open for you on Wednesdays. It's still there and it will be until you're back!) You were born with a natural talent for music! You know, God gives each of us special talents and circumstances in our lives so that we can bring Him glory. You bring Him SO much glory, my sweet! With you, God is very pleased!
Much love, Ms. Jenn

Dearest Lynette and James: I cannot express how much I appreciate your updates. Your descriptions of faith and despair are so encouraging for me. Sydney just continues to show her gloriousness and I ache, laugh, and cry at every entry. Thank you for sharing your honesty. My community group is praying for the family, doctors, and most of all Sydney. You guys continue to be a blessing to all of us.

Dear Lynette, I love what you wrote on the website! That is what the Lord has been telling me also--that He will show Himself when He will be glorified the most and no one can explain it away by means of medicine or treatment. We need to keep meditating on that thought and the truth of it. I love you dearly and pray that you are feeling our prayers from Providence every day and that they will give you strength and courage.
Love Wendy

We are praying for you and praise God for your sweet attitudes of faith. This morning we sang I will trust you in the midnight hour, I will trust you in the fire. The Lord has truly put you all in the fire, and I am confident your faith will continue to refine like gold. May His endless comfort surround you!!! Carol and Ron

After reading your last 2 letters, I was reminded about the disciples being fearful with the waves rocking the boat and awakening Jesus. Jesus spoke, "Be still" and the waters were calmed. May you have some "quiet" time with Christ to calm your spirit! I pray for the health for each of you! Blessings! Betsu

James, Lynette and family, You have every right to your feelings at this most difficult time. One cannot imagine the courage and strenght of Sydney. She never ceases to amaze me with her knowledge and wisdom of her circumstances. If only we could understand. Obviously she and God have a very close relationship. My thoughts and prayers are with you constantly. I pray for Sydney's recovery and that she can have your transplant soon. Love to all of you, Patty
