Sydney, I have made several deserts, cup cakes, flan from your eggs, but some boys at my house keep eating them before I can catch some at home at your house.
I will keep trying and definitely bring you something special when you get home. Make sure to give me a call when you get home or send one of your brothers over.
Kay and John are moving by 7/15/06 and then another new house will start to be built. Not looking forwad to that.
Tell the chicken I am sorry about that any moist ground. I got a plumber out last week when I realized there was a backup problem at the cleanout in the backyard. It is true I am avoiding mowing this year and trying to leave it up to the twins, but now the World Cup has started.
I know you will be home real soon and sorry, it took me so long to find your website. I needed to learn how to spell Sydney. See you soon Karen

You have done a wonderful job of posting prayer requests and progress on this website. What a great way to communicate to the many who know and love you and your family about how God is leading you as you go through these trials and blessings! It is wonderful to see Sydney's smiling face when you first sign onto the site. And I love that you are now listing the prayers that have been answered - I pray that you are keeping a journal of these answered prayers as an encouragement when needed.

Unlike most others, I bring no words of wisdom, only heartfelt wishes for strength, wisdom, courage, and discernment. Know that we are praying these things and others for both of you, along with continued prayer for Sydney's healing. Please remember my office is in the building next to Children's, so if you need anything, please call me.

This passage is from Isaiah 61:

9 Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the LORD has blessed."

10 I delight greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest,
and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

11 For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign LORD will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.

Lynette, you were in my dream last night. Your spirits & entries have been getting me thru my difficult journey. When I think I can't go on, I think of how Sydney keeps going. James, your verses reach far beyond & speak directly. THank you. My prayers are continuous for your sweet family.

I was a member of Grant's culinary class in New York this past week. I live next door in Dallas. I inquired about his wristband and he told me your story. It touched my heart to hear about your spirit, playfulness, devotion and determination. The world is certainly blessed to have you in it and we are all better because of you.

I am a professional flutist. I have a performance next week on Monday. I am playing a piece called Three American Pieces (your story represents one of the best parts of being American...opportunity and the right to some "spunk!") The second movement is called "Dedication". If it is okay with you, I would like to dedicate the piece to you, Sydney, and send you a recording of the performance. I believe the song captures your beauty, integrity, anxiousness, and determination.

Hey Thweatts! We at the Puckett/ Gonzales houses are praying for you guys, and thinking of you often. Let me know when you are in NYC and how my husband and I can be helpful to you. Your faith and fortitude are inspiring, and Sydney's attitude and grit truly amaze. Here is a joke for her to brighten her day - What did Tarzaan say when he saw the elephants coming? Here come the elephants. What did Tarzaan say when he saw the elaphants coming with their sunglasses on? Nothing! He didn't recognize them!! - I know, pretty bad, but it makes me laugh. We love you all, and are here for whatever needs to be done!

Sydney, I am reminded today that you are a Daughter of the King, you are precious to Him, He bought you at a very high price, Jesus is singing over you, He is healing you, He adores His beautiful child. Stay close to Him, talk to Jesus, receive your mom and dad's prayers, remember how much He loves you; just as much as God loves His own Son!

You do not know me, but I have known your Mother, uncle Steven and grand-parents for many years. My boys and your Mom and aunts and uncle grew up together, while your Grand-Mother and Grand-Dad were good friends and tennis buddies in Midland. I see your Mother and Myna in your darling face. Dear Lynette,
Jillian has reminded me several times that she has been praying for Johnson and "his sister." I have encouraged her to keep reminding me, so that Knox (my husband,)Lait (our son) and I can do the same.

I can bearly talk with Jillian about it, because I begin to cry.
