We love you all!

We are so sorry for your loss, but so grateful for your family's example of faithfully walking with Christ, and for Sydney's personification of remarkable courage. Our family has been praying for Sydney, and you, her family, from the beginning. Our daughter Jillian, Johnson's classmate and good friend, has been constant in her prayer for Sydney, and your family. Please know that we stand ready to help you in any way we can, and know that you are loved by many.

The Cord

An invisible cord

What a brave little girl & what a loving family. May God give you peace knowing that she will have no more suffering. Our prayers from Oklahoma go out to you.

Precious Thweatt Family, Heaven is a sweeter place to those of us who have children there. It has been a journey of prayer that has blessed all of us who have had the privilege to pray for Sydney and for you these past months. May God continue to wash His peace over you as he gently holds you in the palm of His hand. You have been a shining "city on a hill" to all of us who have read your thoughts and prayers through this website and through friends that have kept us updated. I will continue to pray for your precious family and please know that we grieve with you the loss of Sydney, a tender and courageous little girl. With tears in my eyes I just read about Sydney's passing. I do have joy in my heart at knowledge of Sydney being in the presence of Jesus. I have prayed faithfully for Sydney for months and check this web site almost daily. I will continue to keep your family in my prayers daily and ask God to bless you with His presence, comfort, peace, joy, and courage to continue to go forward.

As I think of you my mind immediately recalls images of sweet Sydney and her precious smile! I now see her sitting at the feet of our Father, totally restored, smiling that precious smile. It is raining this mornig in Dallas. I think the weather finally reflects how so many of us in this community feel right now.

The Lord says in Isaiah 66, "As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you . . ."

Lynette, we have all watched your steadfast comfort of Sydney over these last couple of years. You have been such a godly mother, demonstrating the kind of strength only our Lord can provide. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your journey. Sydney's life and your example have been a blessing to our family in ways I can't even express.

We are praying that you will sense the Lord's comfort now, more than you ever have.

I learned about ya'll thru a prayer chain at my church and I've been praying for you!! I live in Paradise, TX - north west of Dallas. I also had leukemia when I was 6. I am so sorry for your loss and I will continue to prayer for your family!!
