God bless you all, I am praying for your perserverance through this storm. Sydney will love telling of her miracle for the rest of her life.

Jackie and I live in Highland Park and our son, Evan is a senior.

I was emailed today about your web journal and read through it from start to finish ... tearfully. We know what this family is going through.

It just doesn't make sense. Why do these bad things seem to happen to such good people? It reminds me of what Job went through.

I do know this regarding our beloved Lori. It was her journey and she accepted it "In Christ, her Lord." This was Lori's foundation upon which all things stood. I believe it is the same for your beloved, Sydney.

As Lori said to her best friend near the end of her earthly life:

"I am OK with this. I don't understand 'why,' but I believe ... I believe God ... is using me and my situation in some way to bring someone closer to Him. I have prayed and asked Him, 'Who is this person,' but, as yet, He has not answered."

"Peace be with you," said the Lord. We will be praying for this for your family, and especially Sydney.

Our family receives updates about Sydney through our mutual friend Susan Esco, of OKC. We have been burdened to pray and have been so touched by your faithfulness.
I came across a pasage in 1Peter today that so exemplifies your situation and I hope this will be an encouragement to you: "These trials are only to test your faith to show that it is strong and pure...your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold....Your faith will bring you much praise, glory and honor on the the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. ..It is all so wonderful that even the angels are eagerly watching these things happen." These passages are all from 1Peter 1. I am praying for a miracle for Sydney and want to encourage you that the fullness of faith and the peace you now experience is already a wonderful miracle that will bring a harvest of fruit to all who are witnessing this unfold. I will pray for a miracle today that the Lord would provide healing either through a donor or through the touch of his hand. Remember the Lord is soverign and Loves you with an amazing and never ending love.

Dear Lynette & James: I have just read the November 20th update and I was devastated. I can only imagine your struggle and am in awe of your faith. I, too, will be praying and sure in the will of God. Please know that a single day has not gone by that Boyd and I and our children have not prayed for Sidney and for your family. We continue to do so. We love you all. Starr

God is able. I just wanted you to know that the doctors gave my then 4 year old daughter no chance of survival. She is a healthy 20 year old now. The doctor told me that my "divine intervention theory" was the only one that made any sense. God bless you. Keep believing.
