Hi you guys!
Just wanted you to know that anytime we pray, at meals, in the car, at bedtime, we pray for you Sydney. Davis is determined that you are "all better" so there is no need to pray. I keep telling him that it never hurts to pray for somebody!! We love you guys!

You are in our prayers daily. We are especially praying for you as you present yourself again to medication that heals but also makes you sick. I know the strength of the Lord will be abundant. God has received so much praise and glory through your trial!

I just love these verses at the end of Habakkuk. Here are a few portions of his prayer ... beginning with recognition of who God is (his truly awe inspiring power) followed by the truth of what that power provides for us:

"Lord I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, O Lord. Renew them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy... His glory covered the heavens and his praise filled the earth. His spendor was like the sunrise; rays flashed from his hand where his power was hidden. ...

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables be to go on the heights. (Habakkuk 3:1-4, 17-19)

Habakkuk, looking at a situation that the world would find bleak and desperate, finds complete sufficiency in the all-powerful God.

You have been such a beautiful testimony of His complete sufficiency and love.

Sweet Sister Lynette.
As you're probably wearied and worried as Sydney goes through a battery of tests and starts her second round of chemo, know that my prayers tonight are specifically for you.

I can do everything through him that gives me strength. Philipians 4:13

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you or forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Deuteronomy 31:8

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

You a strong and faithful mom, and a blessing to me. Dana

Hello Sydney and Family,

My heart and prayers are with you. I am a friend of Libba Richardson who keeps me up to date on your progress.

My nephew was diagnosed with ALL last August and is close to finishing his first year of treatment. As a result, I am training with Team In Training to raise support for The Leukemia Society. I will be proudly wearing your name on my wrist band at Libba's request when I race on October 22nd in San Francisco!

Thank you for your strength and endurance while you fight your battle, and know that many of us are fighting with you!

Very sincerely,
Alanna Wiebe

Chuck Bentley referred me to your site. I was diagnosed (at Mayo Clinic) with multiple myeloma over three years ago, a cancer that is incurable and terminal (35 months median longevity). God chose to heal me without chemo or stem cell transplants. Although the doctors told me there had never been a case of "spontaneous remission," the cancer is gone. Not in remissionGÇögone.

I believe in medicine, but I believe even more that God can and does do miracles. I pray that He will work miraculously GÇö with or without medicine GÇö to take this disease from Sydney. I also pray His peace and assurance upon your entire family. You will continue to be in my prayers.

Love in Christ,

Jerry Brown
