Dear Sydney, On this special day of Thanksgiving, we are thankful that the Lord has given us the opportunity to know you and your family, and to witness the power of His glory while you rest in His hands. Thank you for being the light of Christ to the world.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving!

Lynette and James,
I got an update yesterday at BSF on Sydney and the family - you guys have so many people praying for you and keeping up. Nancy Heffner told me you were waiting for a donor and my daughters and I prayed immediately when I got home (had already asked God to provide a donor the minute Nancy told me), and Michelle Copeland (my neighbor) and Beth were praying at the same time. When I checked this site lastnight I say the donor was found!! God is good.
We are so encouraged by your faith and stories. You are such a witness for all to see. I have to put myself in your place and imagine the emotions you are experiencing. My heart breaks, yet I hope that I could walk through this valley with your courage, clinging to God and His promises.
Based on what I have seen from your family, your are finding plenty to be thankful for today. It causes me to add lots to my list today to be thankful for.
We will continue to pray daily for Sydney's transplant to work just as planned, and for your family to be sustained and strengthened throughout the process.
With love,
Melissa McDonald

James and Lynette.
On this Thanksgiving Day we Thank God and Praise Him. We have been on our knees, we know there is nothing more we can do, since God is the Great Physician and only he is truly able. "Nothing is too hard for You Lord" Jeremiah 32:17 "Jesus the One and Only" You are in our thoughts and prayers today, we give thanks for you. Love, Jeff, Darla, Courtney and Emily

We are so thankful for your precious family and the privledge of praying for you all. The way you are sharing your hearts with so many in such an honest and vulnerable way is strengthening the faith of many. I know personally, you all inspire me and increase my desire to love well, trust God more and live courageously because His Presence is with and in us. We always love hearing Marcee's stories, but especially her recent ones. I laugh out loud when I picture Sydney and her personality. She must be Marcee's "Mini-Me!!! I am sure there is rarely a dull moment.
Eph.4:3-6 Always keep yourselves united in the Holy Spirit, and bind yourselves together in peace. We are all one body, we have the same Spirit, and we have all been called to the same glorious future. There is only one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and there is only one God and Father, who is over us all and living through us all.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving! We are praying earnestly, without wavering and with thanksgiving, for each of you!We love you all!! Susan (Steve and Kylie)

Dear Sydney, Happy Thanksgiving!!!!! I saw a Fur Real Pony at Target and thought about you. It was as tall as me. When you give him a carrot, he really crunches on it! And when you brush him he would wag his tail. I am praying for you. Love, Emily
