My children (7 year old Robby & 4 year old Zachary) have been praying for Sydney & your family since last June when we first heard of Sydney's illness from the "2 Mom's" singing group. Like many times when I read your entries, I wept when I read your last entry dated August 21st & I just wanted you to know that Sydney has touched the heart of people she has never met through her courageous spirit. We will continue to pray for complete medical healing for Sydney & that GOD continues to give your family strength, wisdom & courage. Dear Thweatts,
We do not write here often but we do think of you and pray for you often, as do so many, many, MANY others. Please tell Sydney that when she gets home, if she would like to do this, we are going to get the supplies (they are nontoxic now!) and show her how to paint silk scarves for all her wonderful, kind friends from the hospital. Maybe ties for the men instead of scarves! :) We hope that will be an idea that will cheer her up a bit as she combats the wicked fungus.
