Dear James and Lynette,
You have never met me but we are kindred spirits and fellow warriors in a battle waged against our children. Bren Jones is my daughter and I understand the heartache, pain and the blessings this struggle has brought to you, your family, and friends. In these days of uncertainty, unexpected "detours" and more chemotherapy for your precious Sydney, know beyond all else that God is working behind the scenes on Sydney's behalf. We experienced a journey much the same as yours. You are travelling a road you did not choose and walking a path you cannot see, but you have a loving God who is walking ahead of you and holds you with His righteous right hand. Our family is praying that God will purify Sydney's bone marrow, divinely ordain His timing for the transplant, wisdom for the doctors, and God's hand to touch all those who touch Sydney. Know that we, like Aaron holding up Moses' arms, will be holding your arms up when, at times, the weight of it all seems unbearable. Your family's ministry is and has been one of faithfulness during this process; to God be the glory and to you, His peace and comfort.

Dear Lynette and Sydney- I am sorry that you had to return to Dallas, but I know the people in the hospital are thrilled that they get to help you through your next round of treatment. I always hear what a delight you are to everyone around you. I also love the picture of you "sneaking" into the halls to ride around. I hope you are still managing your treatment well and today is a good day with many reasons to smile.

Dear Thweatts, What a rollercoaster of emotions you must have traveled the last week! Sydney's ability to bounce back after chemo amazes and inspires us. Maybe she gets that spunkiness naturally from her namesake. Ha! We thank God for her resilience. We pray for you all many, many times each day.

Hey Thweatts!! Just a little note to say that Brian and are praying for you daily. Your strength and faith continue to inspire me daily. When you are back in NYC, please call on us (and by us I mean Brian since I wont be here :( ) he is happy to help in any way he can. I'm going to try to get some Annie stuff to send to Sydney. Hang in there, and know we are standing firm in God with you.

Hello Miss Sydney!!

I am so glad that you get to be home for a while. I hear that you are watching your classroom videos and that you are getting lots of stickers. Send some of our work to me with one of your brothers and I will grade it and send it back to you. Do you need any time drills?

I am praying for you everyday and so are the children. Give mom and dad a big hug for me.

James & Lynette, how I wish I had known y'all were back @ Children's. I was there until 8:45pm last night with Brooke (Dara's daughter..now mine)she was having an MRI. I would have tried to see you. I prayed hard for y'all while I was there with Brooke and then I met a couple who just found out their 4 yr. old son's cancer came back, so she asked me to add him to my prayer.
You and Lynette are strong servants & give me strength. My family prays for you everyday. Love to ALL of you!

Thank you so much for the update on Sydney! Sydney and your entire family are constantly in my thoughts and prayers. Please tell Sydney that Sarah misses her so much and has so many plans for when they can play together again!
