"I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His word I hope; my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning. O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is steadfast love..." Psalm 130 Praying for Sydney, and for all of you. Love, Cathy

Hello Precious Ones, I love the new pic of Miss Sydney in her pink hospital scrubs! Lynette, James, and Becky, here's a prayer you can make your own right now by Jill Briscoe (from her book, "God's Front Door") "Oh my Lord, when I can hardly bear to think about a child's pain, turn me to Yourself. When I cannot see my Bible through my tears, bring scripture to my mind. When I cannot find the right words to pray; pray in me Holy Spirit as You promised with groans which cannot be uttered. Use me to do Your helping and healing work on my knees." I love you all and we're all continuing to pray! Love and blessings, Ann

Hi Sydney! The hospital is not as bad as you think. Bring some stuff from home because you can decorate your room anyway you want except you can't bring stuffed animals. The nurses and doctors are very nice, I think you will love Dr O'Reily. He is very nice. Today there was a yoga teacher that came and did yoga with me. It is very intersting here. Get well soon! Love Lauren

I am so thankful that Sydney is doing well. I too have spent time at Children's Medical Center as a parent and am so grateful to God for the hospitals, doctors, nurses, and the knowledge they have been given to help people in need. I will pray for all of you.

Hello from Atlanta, GA. I learned about your site through an email a friend sent me with a Mom-e-Moments story. On July 19, 2005 our daughter was diagnosed with a Wilm's Tumor in her left kidney. Almost a year later, she is cancer free with an excellent prognosis. I will pray for your daughter and family to have the endurance, strength, and faith for the journey ahead. Many hugs for your family in this difficult time. Please let us know if there is anything we can do! Blessings to your family, Kim

Our family has been praying for Sydney and following her progress. We are so pleaded to hear the encouraging news.
Our daugher, McCall, is having her 11th birthday party soon, and she would like to have her friends make a donation in honor of Sydney instead of giving her birthday gifts. She wanted to have them make donations to the Make A Wish Foundation. I thought I would check with you first and see if you have had any contact from the local Make a Wish chapter, or if there was another organizion that you and Sydney would prefer.
McCall hopes she can meet Sydney then next time that we are back in Dallas.
We will continue to keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.

Praise the Lord for the healing he has done in Sydney's body and for raising up the 2 donors who match her perfectly! The details and the timing for the NY trip with also work out in His perfect timing for Sydney. The Lord will take care of you in NY and the boys in Dallas when you are apart. I was meditating and praying on this verse for you tonight: Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9
