James, Lynette and family,
You have every right to your feelings at this most difficult time. One cannot imagine the courage and strenght of Sydney. She never ceases to amaze me with her knowledge and wisdom of her circumstances. If only we could understand. Obviously she and God have a very close relationship. My thoughts and prayers are with you constantly. I pray for Sydney's recovery and that she can have your transplant soon. Love to all of you, Patty

Dear James, Lynette and Sydney:
I am a Cambridge mom who has not been able to meet you yet due to your circumstances with Sydney. Please know that, ever since school began, our community has been petitioning the Lord for Sydney. We cannot be with you in person, but this body of Christ is surely with you in prayer. The Lord woke me up this morning, and gave me a verse that I'm sure you have prayed many times: Philippians 4:6-7...
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
And the Peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

my heart aches in prayers for you and your sydney.

I pray that God will reveal himself to you in a way that you know, without a doubt, He is "with you". I am reminded of a picture my doctor has in his office...it has a hospital room scene with a patient, the patient's loved ones, and a faint impression (much like that of a ghost) that is CLEARLY JESUS in the room--the point being that the Lord is right in the midst of the "trouble"...literally standing beside us, protecting us, covering us, calming us, and experiencing our heartache,feeling our pain. (It was so comforting to me) Again, I will pray you will get a very "unmistakeable" glimpse of his goodness and that you will be encouraged no matter the circumstances--may God continue to be your refuge.*Libby

Dear Lynette and James,
I am saddened to hear of your latest report. We, along with Jesus and the saints, groan and grieve at the afflictions and sufferings of sweet Sydney. There are no words more comforting than His, so I am sending a few of those verses I prayed over you this morning while being quiet before the Lord.

Psa. 32: 8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.
v. 20 Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield; For our heart rejoices in Him, Because we TRUST in HIS HOLY name; Let THY LOVINGKINDNESS, O Lord, be upon us, According as we have HOPED IN THEE.

Hey Miss Sydney!
I hear you are still keeping everyone hopping up there. Good for you!

We are praying for you every day and very soon we will have some more DVD's for you to watch.

I also have some more papers for you. So tell mom to let me know when you are ready for some new work.

I have heard from your New York teacher and she sounds like a very nice lady. I am glad that you have someone to help you with your school work.

I will be in New York in about a month so maybe I can come by and bring you some books to read and give your mom a hug.

If you have something special you need, have mom email me and we'll bring it to you.

I love you and can't wait to have you back in your desk at school! The children miss you.

James, we cry for the pain and fear you are feeling. My thoughts are constantly visualizing little Sydney surrounded by the healing light of Christ. I feel strongly that all will be well with her. Your doubts and even anger are understandable. You, Lynette, and the rest of your two families have been through a lot. Just know that all of us will continue to pray and think positive thoughts for all of you. All our love to each of you.

I am thinking and praying for all of you and especially my dear sweet Lynette.Sydney has a great champion in her Mother. I can remember her compassion and her sincere love toward her fellow man a a little girl. Along with all of that there was a strength that came from the Lord and has sustained her all these years. God bless you Lynette and know that all the love and compassion is now sustaining your precious one. God is good and loves your little girl unconditionally through you. Hello Thweatts. I am amazed by Sydney. She is the toughest kid I've ever known. I am prayioing for her and for all of you, and I keep coming back to her words to Lynette."Mom, why do you keep asking God to heal me? He already has."
